2 PortretAt the very first glance of Djurovic’s paintings we face the unusual colorful fluorescence that simply, blinds all our senses. In that first encounter with the colorful world of this Mediterranean painter, we will feel how he acts suggestively, powerfully, warmly. Only afterwards, do we discover the artist’s affinity towards mysterious, hidden, fantastic and amazing. From that point this art of painting forces us by its bucolic-pastoral charms into a pleasant journey in the depths of one world whose existence we have already forgotten. Metaphysically speaking we are the Beings of the flesh. Each painter always for himself, again and again rediscovers his Arcadia. That is the ONE last homeostasis shelter in which one can find tranquility. Djurovic’s paining is charmed with one obsessive. Arcadian colorful eroticism, led by the deep order of a being that is aware of the existence of Beauty. With all that, the erotic at the painting of this artist is sublimed into the spiritual. That painting, unusually lit, which seems to arrive form the fairy tale world is a paradise oasis, water of one intimate maternal source in which the soul returns again to get some warmth.
